Anne-Marie is an ex-school teacher who has left one teaching profession to join another. She taught, among other subjects, art to her school pupils for over 30 years. She then started classes with The Paint Basket in 1997 to further her knowledge and techniques. She had been contemplating opening her own Paint Basket for some time, so when Amelia moved to Witbank, Anne-Marie jumped at the opportunity to take over the Germiston studio. Her studio is situated in Lambton and she teaches oil painting to adults as well as high school children.
