In order for me to easily find and answer queries about this Lesson I will appreciate it if everyone will keep these to this specific Lesson Posting only. This will also be of benefit to you as well in the future. Thanks

Thank you so much for this class Dennis! Brought me out of my winter painting lethargy. I can start to feel the exitement again and my fingers are getting restless again to paint more... :smitten: :cheering: :cheering:
I did this yesterday night under a normal bright lamp. Now during daylight the colours are more bluish. Do you think I should add some crimson to the Lupines?
This is big size: 30x40 cm, 300 g/m2 WC paper.

Very nicely done, Gita.
different types of lighting is always a problem when painting at night.
You can also make the lupines red or orange as they come in many colors O0
-
Liking this very much Gita. I agree a few dabs of brighter colour would really bring more life to the painting.
Beautiful work.

Beautiful Gita. All you need is to brighten the flowers a bit. Very nicely done!

Thanks Dennis for the advice. Thanks Val, Mary-Lou for the suggestions.
I revised this now: some additional colour to the flowers, some Gouache leaves, revised the steps. The photo looks a bit dull but in real this is a lot better.
I think I should put my brush down now.... ::)

This is lovely, Gita.
Yes, brush down! Sit back and admire.

Excellent job, Gita!

Thank you Mary-Lou, Steve. :D

Very nice lesson Dennis. Had a bit of an issue with the sky and lost those two people by the trees.
-
Lovely Mary- Lou! The colours are vibrant!

   Great work Gita and Mary Lou. Patricia

Mar Lou
It is better than you think it is. The two people are there, maybe it's best that they not stand out and take away from the beauty of the scene.

Very good, Mary Lou    One of the nicest skies I seen in a long time, with the beautiful granulation in the blue and the soft edges on the clouds. Just soften down those parallel lines in the main cloud to make it even better O0
-
Thank you Gita, Patricia, Mea and Dennis. I appreciate the positive feedback. Dennis, thank you so much. My sky did not look like yours so I thought I messed up. Here it is with those lines removed. My photo is slightly different the first was taken in daylight and this was taken at night with flash

Lovely work MaryLou. Had I tried a fix like that.... I'd have cauliflower skies! ;D Well done.
-
Thank you Dennis, Mea and Val. I saved this by using a Mr. Clean pad that was only slightly damp. Worked beautifully.
-
Good job, Mary Lou! I love your clouds ;D ;D ;D
-
 I've been away from the w/c too long. Forgot all about Mr. Clean! I stock up whenever I find them....I think I have about 14 of them tucked away in my supply box! ??? uh....not that I make a lot of mistakes you know.
-
Thank you Steve. Oh, Val, Mr. Clean has saved me a few times! LOL...
-
Another lesson done... Along with Dennis...
-
Excellent    Just be careful wit the shape of the building O0
-
Very nice Cyril.

Very dramatic :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:
I find that the lupines in front tend to have a halo around them. Could an off white pink / purple glaze not soften those white halos?
