Title: Creating a Web page for Art
Post by: lynn p. on August 04, 2017, 03:34:00 AM
I am finally breaking down and creating a webpage for my art.  I found out about FineArtStudioOnline (www.faso.com (http://www.faso.com)) and am quite impressed.  Easy layout and pretty cheap for what they provide.  Check it out.  Mine is not quite done yet as I can't figure out how to do submenus so weirdly the charcoal nudes are mixed in with children's portraits, Yikes but you can get the idea.  http://lynnhp01.fineartstudioonline.com (http://lynnhp01.fineartonline.com)--oops seems likely only I can see it.  Will post later when it is finished.

Ok guys, it looks like it is loading now at

 www.lynnparkerart.com (http://www.lynnparkerart.com).

Let me know if you can get in.  Am still tweaking and not sure if I should add my iconography here or do a separate page but can't afford that.  This one is $28 per month with an initial free two months.  It allows unlimited entries, you can manage yourself and make any changes as does some marketing for you.  I still haven't figured out how to connect it to facebook and what to do if someone actually wants to buy something :heeha: :heeha:

Lynn,

Yes, the site opened right up.  Love seeing your beautiful work all in one place.

Couldn't you just add another page to this site for the iconography?

Nolan, So good to see your face!!!!  Thanks a lot.  Alan Flattmann told me about this site and I really do like it so far.  They apparently do some marketing for you like rotate your works through a daily paintings website.  I need to learn more.

Hi Susan.  Yes, am thinking about it but I realized that I do not have very good photos of many of them.  I may have to retake some and some are gone and I just never got a good photo.
