Liz, this scratchboard lion is really good.  Looks so real.  Love the depth you created in his eye.

Thank you mea, i love animals, i guess i am more an animal person than people really, you always know where you are with animals not so with people.
  (Sorry, thats how i feel at moment my friend of over twenty years has been diagnosed with lymphoma and she has told me she will not speak to me ever again because its my fault! So hurt! I have lost so many friends and relatives to cancer lately. she says i am a 'jonah' - bad luck! She talks as if i cause it!) sorry feeling down at moment

Liz, how horrible for your friend to say such a thing.

Just looking at your work I can see nothing more than the happiness you must bring to people. 

Just remember the friends you have here on PB love you and care about you. :hug:

I guess shes angry and hitting out. I sent her a gift and wished her well when i found out , her response was a 2 sentence letter. Not even a Thankyou. Oh well, it takes all sorts.  :thankyou: :smitten: :painting:

Beautifully done Liz, my only thought would be to add a bit of crosshatching on the tusks to make them stand out a bit more. Otherwise, excellent in my eyes!  :clap: :clap: :clap:
