Title: Hannah
Post by: robynann on December 26, 2017, 07:22:21 PM
My St. Bernard Hannah passed last wednesday. She had been sick with Cancer for a long long time. She finally had enough and took her last breath. I am so heart sick over this. She was my baby, never having kids of my own. I had her for a wonderful 13 years! I painted this picture for her. I know it's not a doggy picture. It's what she would have looked like had she been human. A Beautiful Woman. Please comment or critique.
(The background is gray with the purple tones in it. Not all purple like the camera picked up)

I am so sorry to hear about Hannah’s passing.  Here’s a big hug for you. :1hug:   I also lost a dog to cancer and know how hard it is to watch them go through it.

Your painting of Hannah is amazing.  I can see the love in her eyes.   :smitten:  What a lovely tribute to her.

As a human, she is a lovely dog... or do I mean it the other way round?  :'(Your painting expresses the love and regard you felt for her beautifully. The eyes are so expressive. :flowers: :flowers: :flowers:
Theresa M... we lost a dog at age 17, to cancer too. And have not been able to replace him. But I borrow/babysit one from time to time, which helps fill the gap a little.

oh Robynann - I'm so sorry to read of the passing of your beloved Hannah. Our fur babies are our children, and I think it's wonderful you created a human image of her. May her memory forever be a blessing to you...
