Apple from my frig, one not usually chosen for a drawing/painting I think. ~Liz
Drawn with Rose Art pencils from grandchildren’s box of pencils.
Drawn/painted with my new set of Arteza water color pencils and water brush. Good way to get back into drawing and also trying out water color.
(9-16-18) Is this better? It doesn’t look like the actual apple I was looking at, but for a work of art I do think it looks better. ~Liz

Liz,
Happy you got the Arteza woodless watercolor pencils. I love mine.
This looks really good. Great blending.

:thankyou: MEA, I liked that they were easy to work with!
:thankyou: DENNIS, I see what you mean. I had forgotten about how to do spheres and lack the dark values/shadow part needed for form! Tried to do a highlight, too, but it doesn’t show on the apple. Will practice more!

:thankyou: , BILL! I guess I’m timid about using a little water brush and don’t know how water color works on paper. ~Liz
