     these pencil only cost 10.95 gbp for 48 because the box was broken - amazon warehouse they are chinese very pigmented though if you compare say the dark blue with a holbein blue there is no contest but then holbein are a hybred mix of wax and oil and extremely pigmented also extremely expensive..
-
that was a bargain :heeha:

I have been working on this little guy all week. The paper is from a pad called ‘paint on it’ it was a free sample. It has a tooth - its not bad - it was free - jury is out on it.
I made the mistake of taking the top page out, when i got down to work on the jacket i found there were indented diagonal lines which stop my plan of doing a tartan style pattern.
I wasn’t sure whether to add a background or not!
-
beautiful job Abbie :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:
I don't think a background is required. The current colour works well as a complimentary background O0
-
Thankyou, i was going to play on a piece of rough paper to see best colour for background but i agree to leave well alone.

I fell foul of a nasty virus , run a fever and couldn’t eat for nearly 31/2 weeks , so feeling sorry for myself i decided to just draw. Instead of concentrating on drawing or trying to draw realistic portraits i sat down to draw a picture - this is a couple of pics i found in a box i have been looking through i don’t know where they came from.. i decided to use all the blue shades in polys i own plus cold and warm greys and gold. I hoped / thought the blues would convey the cold ..
-
  Yes it does convey cold, Abbietaya
