Title: Impasto Rocks
Post by: Trace on January 24, 2021, 09:43:06 PM
This is till a WIP, hoping if I persevere it may all come together. I seem to swing from too much paint on the knife, to not enough - hoping you may have some pointers that I may be doing incorrectly Nolan? Or is it just a case of practise, practise, practise? :)
Normally I watch the classes first & then SLOWLY - do the class, stopping & rewinding as I go. This time I thought I try to do paint along, but it's been very challenging

Looks like you did a great job on this. Water, rocks, sky, it all looks wonderful to me.

It looks great to me too Tracey :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:

You have a really nice reflection in the water :heeha:

How much paint you pick up on the knife at  a time depends on how much you want to put down so it is a case of getting used to knowing how much to pick up to get the coverage and texture you want.

:thankyou: EmmaLee, Mary Lou & Nolan. Yes I'm still in discovery stage as to how far the paint will go ...
