Title: Watering Hole

I chose to do the zebra for the challenge.  This was the other reference photo I was considering.  Looking for something to paint, I thought I would give this a go.  Your comments and suggestions are appreciated.

I like this even more than the zebra Mary Lou! The scenery immediately puts me in a sentimental mood, a longing for spring, greens and forests.

Great colours, shadows and well done with the reflection. I'm despairing with my self for my Tiger reflection. My fault being I am not copying from a picture. I'll post it here anyway.

Advise please.

Thank you Bill.  Your reflection is good.   The water is just a bit murkier.  I would not be able to do that without a reference.

Thanks Maria.  :( too late, I am redoing the water. I have watched Nolan's tutorials "12 tips for reflections" and his following lessen so hope to make an improvement.
