Title: Venice
Post by: Alan Dixon on August 25, 2013, 10:09:47 PM
9" x 12" Acrylic on framed canvas. My Daughter and her family are in Venice at this moment so I did this painting to give them as a memento when they return.

Alan,

The Venice canal scene is beautiful.  What a thoughtful gift.

Cool.  The side canals are usually 3 maybe 4 feet deep.

Good composition, Alan!  I especially like the buildings alongside the canal!  You did a good job!  O0

Alan, I love the Canal  :painting:

Please, know that I am kind of a newbie here, so this may not be good advice, but here goes my 2cents anyway.  I think there should be a 'bit of shadow' under the window sills, especially the yellow building at the far end of the canal.  Just my opinion, ignore it if you disagree
