Title: EZ Rest Painting Handrest
Post by: Fencepost on July 12, 2014, 03:32:56 PM
In looking for a mahlstick, I came across this product. It's $30 at Jerry's Artarama.

It is saving the life of this artist whose steadiness of hand is declining. An amazing tool.  :yippee:

However, there are no instructions for installation and it is not intuitive at all. So I highly recommend it only if you are a skilled handyperson with the mind of an engineer and the patience of Job, or if you know someone who is!  :fight:

It took several days of trial and error and a modification of my French easel, but I did it!  :smitten: Just remember you must have a 2" area on the side of your easel below the tray to attach the block. It can also attach to a table for drawing/painting.
