Here's my draw a long. The camera lightened the one side of the face and I don't know how to correct it. The first picture I took came out blue so I re-took it but still not very good.  Comments and critiques are happily received. Thank You.  Patricia

Oooh...I like your eye color!  Nice work Patricia!

I elongated the nose somehow.  I guess I'm having an off day.

Beautifull drawing Patricia and Natalie,  the eyes are well done,  but the are kind of a scary animal with those eyes. ;)

:thankyou: :thankyou:  Mea and Danielle for your lovely comments.  Yes, Danielle, I also thought that the eyes made the animal look rather scary.  It actually gave me the creeps.   :2funny:   Patricia

Really good draw a longs Patricia and Natalie.  Here is my cross looking Lemur.  I battle with figuring out which way the hair grows on these animals.

Thanks Patricia, and Natalie.  I'm sitting here chuckling.  Each of the lemurs have a different expressions.  Patricia's says "I'm wearing a coat 'cause it's cold here on Canada."  Natalie's asks  "are you serious?"  And mine says "this old women is nuts!"

:heeha:  These are fabulous!!!

I printed this one out to have a go  :yippee: .....  ...  ??? ... right after I finish the w/c tree, the woodsy pastel, the portrait drawing ... and drat it, yes Nolan's erasable breaking wave!  :eyesclosed:   :faint:

 ??? I wouldn't make a very good brick mason.....I spread it way too thin!      :2funny:  :2funny:

:thankyou:  Dennis for your comments but yes, it is the camera that lightened up the colour and the pupil on the one eye for in real life, it is as dark as the other eye.  I think my settings on the camera are all wrong and I will need to have a lesson on it.      I am getting a bit old for all this modern technology ... when I left the work force we never even had computers!!!

Cyril,

You really do well with pen and ink.   The fur, especially around his eyes is really good.

Well have finished my Lemur was going well until the watercolour started to run a bit ,I don't know if I spilt some water or it was to do with the quality of the paper not really made for w/c.

Nicely done Helen. If you hadn't mentioned it....might not have noticed the tiny infringement of the w/c. The eyes look fantastic.  O0

Danielle,

Nice job on the lemur.  Is that dark area around his nose supposed to have such a hard edge?  You did such a beautiful blending of the dark and light around the eyes.  Would be nice to see that same transition around the nose area.

Otherwise, yup, ibby jeebie eyes and all - good job.
