Nolan bought this class yesterday. But it is showing that I still have to buy it.  Is there a template for this or are we suppose to draw this free hand.

I was hoping a pdf would appear when the class opened up.  I'll have to check later tonight when I get home from church.

seems like I have a problem in my script that unlocks the delayed release classes, I am trying to figure out what it is. :-\
You should all be able to access the class now, let me know if you still can't

Natalie, the pdf is below the class video as normal, maybe you just need to scroll down?

This is the rose of many interruptions!  :pullhair:
By the time I got back to it my internet was down.  I'm going to have to grab some popcorn and see how Nolan ended this painting.
I'm hoping to mix enough dark green to cover my signature and make it less in your face.  I don't know what I was thinking.

Natalie

Your Rose is beautiful......dare I say I think it's better than the photo..so very soft and delicate to look at  You've done a wonderful job and should be proud.

I hope to start this one on Monday....I've be plein airing in my yard and also have a new electric bike that allows me to get out on my own and take photos in the area.

Have grand daughter this weekend so definitely won't be able to concentrate on Nolan until then, though I have watched the video a couple of times so hopefully I can at least get to sketch it and put in on a canvas with clear coat.

Meanwhile I really really like this and look forward to seeing your sunset one as well.

Sherri, I use acrylic gloss medium which brings out the shine and when I'm done I finish off the painting with acrylic gloss spray varnish.  The colors are vibrant and never dull.  :)

Mine is actually done in oils.  Am enjoying painting these flowers despite my initial misgivings.  Still cant follow lines though and when I get to painting them I always find mistakes!

Your rose is soft and delicate.  Maybe a bit more contrast is needed to make it POP..

beautiful Zayn :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:

What I would do is give the background a darker colour wash when dry. That will make the stem, and the rose, really stand out even more O0

I am just posting them late and all of them now.  :D

I have worked on 80 artworks (from various sources including PaintBasket plus free Youtube tutorials) in the last 2.5 years while managing 5 relocations because of my day job. So technically it turns out to be 1 painting/artwork in 12 days with so much relocation and re-establishing home  :pullhair: and office  :run:!

you are a machine Dolly :heeha:

Another great painting with very good shadings :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:

I would like to see more contrast in the center area of the flower. The added contrast will give you extra depth in that area O0

Thank you Nolan!  :thankyou: When I painted this I did not have Alizarin Crimson / Quin Magenta and had very limited colors . But  I have bought these colors now. Hate to touch the old painting so I am definitely going to paint one more Rose and follow your advice. I love this delicate rose so much! Hope to do better this time!  :excercise:
