Title: Uploading images
Post by: Doodlesweaver on March 14, 2015, 01:08:00 AM
Is there any way to upload images directly from my phone? When I send them to photobucket first they look very blurry. Check out Doodlesweaver33 on photobucket and you can see the watercolors look super blurry. How is everyone else posting their photos?

I use my iPhone for everything.  Just open the add item to your album,  scroll down to the first "choose file".  Click on that, it will open the photo album on your phone.  Select the photo you want to upload and the photo then in PB click on the submit button.  It may take awhile but the photo should upload.  If the photo is to large you may have to crop.  Only on very rare occasions have I had to use my Pc to resize and upload.

I use PAINT (free).  Just upload from camera or scanner.  That way I can resize those huge files.  Then I take it to PICASA to tweak the color, straighten, and crop if I forgot to do it in paint.  PICASA (free) even lets you add a frame.

I'm not techie enough to work with any other programs.  I've got these two figured out and they can do all I need.

Hi Jill, I can't find the add item button. I use my iPhone for everything, too.

Click on the picture next to your photo on top of the page.  Open the album you want to add the photo to.  Just under the album name is a link to add items to this album.  Click on that.  Then scroll down to where it says. "File to upload". Then click on the choose file next to it.  That will take you to your camera roll.  Click on the photo you want to upload.  A picture of it will show next to the choose file button.  Then scroll down and hit submit.  That should do it  :gl:
