    Kathy your drawing is outstanding.  I am also just so very happy to hear that you are settled in your new home and loving every minute of being with your children and grandchildren.  Family make such a difference to one's life, I could not imagine life without mine.

This is my latest progress on Rachel's Poppy. I've just started the rain drops on the lower right hand corner. There sure are a lot of them to do.

Kathy,

All the individual elements are well done.  The leaves and colors are beautiful.

I am not a fan of waterdrops - probably because I cannot make them very well.

:thankyou: Mea. I hear you about water drops. They are lovely when done correctly but a distraction when not. The class I am doing focuses on water drops so I'm hoping to get the hang of it by the time I do all of these.

 Wow you are brave Kathy. I have never quite got a waterdrop painted that I was really happy with. Now I'm trying them in pastel... crazy loves crazy, so had to have a go. Will be posting some shortly.

I think you are going about it the right way Kathy, the more you do the more you will improve.  O0

Rachel's Poppy is finished 😃. This is the longest I've ever spent on a drawing. Though raindrops are a challenge, I learned a lot. Next onto a pencil drawing and water color class. Yippie.
