My next painting on watercolor paper......but the background if fatal!!!!how to correct it now

Maria,

The background was the first thing I noticed because I really liked the way to colors blended into each other.  Maybe if you added more reds and purples to the pomagranate, it would make the background command less attention.

Regardless, I love it as it is.  It's really beautiful.

I am not sure if i understand you correctly
you mean that we cant see the ink after putting watercolor?

I did another one this time different way
