Just heard about the earthquake and subsequent Tsunami in New Zealand and I pray that you Dennis, Nolan and families are safe.  I feel sick to the stomach just hearing about it but trust the Lord has kept you all out of harm's way.

I echo Patricia's sentiments.  This is the first I have heard of it.

Our New Zealand friends are in our thoughts - prayers for safety and no damage.

I just checked the map and it seems the Clarks live on the west side of the island and the tsunami came in on the East Coast.  Not sure where the earthquake was centered though.

The quake was centered near Kaikoura near the top of the south island on the east coast. Some very heavy damage to buildings, and main coastal highway will be closed for a long time due to extensive slips. Some farm building have completely collapsed. Huge cracks in many roads in the area. Wellington was hit quite hard in the CBD area. Everybody warned not to go to work there today.

We are just north of Wellington and on the west coast. There was a 2m (6 feet) high  tsunami on parts of the east coast of the south island.

I am so relieved that you are ok Dennis, Nolan, their families and other PBs in New Zealand. Hope that this does not cause too much grief to people.
It is such worrying news.
