My main comment is that just a few years ago, when I first found the Paintbasket.com I was petrified of every painting medium.  As of today I am not afraid of any medium.  At this point is is just about practice. I have experimented with everything I can find at the art store and have developed strong opinions where at one time I had none. Painting has left me with a hole in my wallet but my heart rejoices with the fulfilment of a child's dream.  Thank you my trusty friends, Dennis and Nolan!

Practice, practice, practice.....I love it!

I totally echo all the sentiments expressed in this topic.  PB has made me a whole new person.

Thank you to Nolan and Dennis for creating a platform where people can learn and be supported, comforted , and loved while doing it.

Oh! Bryce, I had a good giggle at your post but I whole heartedly agree with all that has been said. Dennis, Nolan and our Paint Basket members have opened up a whole new life for me and I consider myself to be so blessed for having found the Paint Basket too.   Patricia

I agreed with all of you.

I never thought I would indulge in any form of art, although I enjoy looking at paintings and listening to music.

PB has really change many things for me and all for the best.  PB had also erase my fear of retirement.  Now I know what will get me up in the morning when I ultimately have to retire.

Don't get me started!  :-X   Ok.... too late!  >:D     :2funny:

Wow, what have these Clark boys done to/for me.....  Too much to write it all out, so here's the highlights.
I see things much differently, even on the bad days.  :(

I love 'teaching' (i use that term loosely!  ;D ) others around me about drawing, painting, and learning so much from them in return. No bragging here, but I have had some positively brilliant classmates, much better than me and they still come to learn more from me! Astounding!!! I do refer to my students as classmates since in reality we really are learning from and sharing with one another. It's amazing!  :yippee:

Wow....and what about all you amazingly talented artists I'd never have met if not for PB!
To our much beloved Clark boys .....

Yes, Bryce, I agree too!  Wonderful place where you can come and feel completely secure pursuing your dreams.  Nothing but encouragement here with awesome teachers.
