:thankyou:  Dennis for a lovely class.  I battled a little with it because I lost my lines but soldiered on. Comments and critiques are always welcomed.  Thank you.  Patricia

It's lovely, Patricia.

Nice folds in his shirt.

I think I might have put a few more darks for contrast in the water.

Did he catch a fish?

Excellent Patricia, you are a busy bee as always, where do you find time between grand kids and all.  Since we have a grand daughter my energy is not the same.  I still do a lot of paintings but I have not done many classes as I did before

:heeha: Wow Patricia! You are putting out a lot of excellent artwork. This is another winner! I especially like the way the water splashes up against the boat.  :yippee:

Danielle, thank you so much for your lovely comments. My days are filled to the brim but I have free time in the night which is when I normally sit and do my art but sadly, my eyes are weakening and it is not so easy to see the correct colours etc. While I enjoy art and it is my hobby but family come first, for in a blink of an eyelid, the children are grown up and you cannot get that time with them back again. Fortunately, they are all interested in art ... even my two and a half year old grand-daughter was busy painting at my house this morning.  So it is all good.   ;)

Oh that is so precious, Patricia.  :smitten: How wonderful that you can share art with your grand=daughter. I am so looking forward to my  grand daughters when we move to Tennessee. They love art and call me their "crafty grandma".  ;D

Oh! Kathy, you will have the time of your life teaching your grandchildren.  When I have my three eldest grand-daughters at my home, I give them something to paint and I organise a competition with a prize for the best painting. In unison, they all say, "Granny, we know you, we will all get a prize" (which they do ... they all get the same prize) and then I ask them how I can possibly choose the best when they are all the best paintings.  It is a lot of fun and they will forever remember me for that as they tell me.

You can probably guess what part of their Christmas gifts are from me, yes, art paraphernalia. :)

So sweet partaking your art with your grand children, I can't wait to do the same.

Danielle, you have a treat in store for apart from teaching them to love art, it is a wonderful bonding time and with children, it is not what you give or buy them that they will remember but the time you spent with them.
