:thankyou: Karen  :)... glad you think so.

When I mixed my green... I used ultramarine and arylamide yellow (cad yellow)...then to darken the green I used it's complimentary, which is red, to darken the green... just added a little red at a time, until I felt the colours was right. ;)

There is so much information on this site I tend to use the 'bookmark' page more and more. Then it becomes a bit of a scavenger hunt digging through the bookmarks! I really must get a secretary/assistant!  ::)   :2funny:

Well done Karen. I think your painting is just fine as is, that said, it never fails how we find things we could/should have done.  ;D

Love the light and distance you have achieved in this painting Karen. I can see the Kiwi scenery with the toi toi and the bach, etc

:bigwelcome: to the site Kuku.

Good depth in the foliage and nice distance in the painting, well done, you are off to a great start  :yippee: :congrats:

Kuku, I suggest you get yourself a gmail email account and then register on the site using that email address, that way when you book a class the system has a unique email address to use, otherwise it will always be credited as a booking for Karen.  :-\

Nice work, Karen, a very nice painting.

I love how you made the sky so bright and clean.  It really makes your bluegum tree stand out.  I like the way you painted the bark on the tree as well.
