Thank you so much for this class Dennis! Brought me out of my winter painting lethargy. I can start to feel the exitement again and my fingers are getting restless again to paint more...   :smitten: :cheering: :cheering:

I did this yesterday night under a normal bright lamp. Now during daylight the colours are more bluish. Do you think I should add some crimson to the Lupines?

This is big size: 30x40 cm, 300 g/m2 WC paper.

Cheers, Gita

Very nicely done, Gita.
different types of lighting is always a problem when painting at night.
You can also make the lupines red or orange as they come in many colors  O0

Liking this very much Gita. I agree a few dabs of brighter colour would really bring more life to the painting.

Beautiful work.

Beautiful Gita.  All you need is to brighten the flowers a bit.  Very nicely done!

Thanks Dennis for the advice. Thanks Val, Mary-Lou for the suggestions.
I revised this now: some additional colour to the flowers, some Gouache leaves, revised the steps. The photo looks a bit dull but in real this is a lot better.
I think I should put my brush down now.... ::)

Very nice lesson Dennis.  Had a bit of an issue with the sky and lost those two people by the trees.
