Patricia.... we'll have to get Nolan to do a little espionage so we have a chance to catch up! Keep mum
, don't want that to get out!
Looking forward to seeing your masterpiece!

Here's my submission for the live class. Still not quite light outside but couldn't wait any longer to take the photo and submit as I have a busy day ahead. Patricia

Val, sorry to disappoint you but my "masterpiece" is no such thing. My rocks are horrible but I tried and I enjoyed the lesson so that is what it is all about, enjoying what we do even if it turns out not as we expected and hoped for. I watch Dennis just put a little stroke down and it transforms into something beautiful. I do the same thing and it looks like a mess.

Very nice, Patricia. Nice blending.
Not having seen yet what the rocks are actually supposed to look like, I cannot comment on them.
The rest of the painting looks really good.

Your painting is lovely, Patricia. I agree with Mea, beautiful blending of the colors. Great clouds.

so much Mea and Kathy for your kind comments. Mea, if you look at Dennis' picture at the beginning of this thread, you will see what the rocks are supposed to look like and mine don't even resemble them.

Very well done, all you 3 ladies
Just keep in mind that this is NOT a normal lesson. You are painting at speed and against time, all of which is excellent practice. Kudos for just keeping up as well as you did

Patricia you managed to get all of the bits in, and they look to be in their right places!
Your colours and blending in the sky are very nicely done.
AND...your have rocks!
Then the final stroke ... reflections!!!
It's a lovely piece and I hope to do as well.....next time!

Looks like this was a fun and interesting class. Sadly I was flying high in the sky heading to the UK at the time so couldnt join in.
All your paintings are interesting and such lovely colours.
