I finished this class. Here is my rose.


Are the shadows and colors vivid enough? Maybe need more dark? I painted 4 layers. Some places thicker than others. Shall i paint thicker?

I enjoyed working on this one  :smitten:! I did the base colors in Acrylics - it would not blend smoothly so the following day I painted over it with Oils.

I have to say this! Though Oil is messy (rather I am messy with oils) but it does give you time to think! With Acrylics there is just layers to cover up stuff if you did something out of place. I think I will like oils eventually too!  :) :)

Reflections:
Acrylics are forgiving when you are short on time!
Oils are forgiving when you are short on skill!
