The Paint Basket TV page is starting to become too large (list of links on the left too long) and next year with the watercolour classes being added it will be even worse. So I need to redesign the page to be more user friendly.

It must be easy to find the :
1) Newsletters
2) Oil painting replays
3) Watercolour Painting replays
4) live class schedule

I was thinking along the lines of either
a) a TV guide type look when you first arrive on the page so you would then find the heading and then go down the list to where you want to be. You would then click a + button to expand and contract more info box for each class.
b) showing 3 buttons at the top to navigate to the list of the newsletter, watercolour and oil painting replays then the live class schedule list under that.

The initial series of oil painting live classes I did will be moving over to the Courses section as a free course, similar to the Perfect Painting course. The portrait series will move over as a paid course.

Any other suggestions?

Don't know if we're on the same page or not but I've been fooling around with web page design for a few years myself.
What I've found to be the simplest is a menu page. That menu page should hold the basic info as to where it'll take you.

This is my menu page. I've also had numerous compliments on how easy it is to get around my web site. Everybody loves my simplistic ideas.

Maybe this will help you make some sort of a decision.

Your suggestions for the PaintBasket TV page sounds really good Nolan.  Like both but maybe I think personally I prefer the (b) option, which gives the basic headings... click on the one that interests you, then it opens up with more  or the rest of the info.  IMHO the simplicity of the page is important and needs to be very user friendly and easy to follow...especially if you get someone like me on the page whom is not that knowledgable on a computer

Great idea O0
