Val, I am so pleased to read that you are progressing well.  Gosh, I have just logged in after a week or two's absence and was sad to read of the misfortune of some of you. However, I am pleased to know that you are doing much better and that Mary Lou's toe is healing too. Keep safe and stay well.

Thanks Patricia. So nice that Nolan makes it possible to give virtual hugs  .... who  would  ever have thought that we´d need them as much as we do now? Thanks Nolan  :-*
Cheers, Val

   I did something rather soppy...    A few days ago I walked down the street to the bank, 6-8 minute walk. I didn´t put the extra dark lenses on my sunglasses, and didn´t have my wide brim hat on.    So the walk down and back, plus a short wait outside the bank, took its toll. My eyes were feeling a bit sore that night, I woke up in the early morning and one eye looked like a left over from the day of the dead! I was very lucky this time and had no blistering on the eyeball, just the most brilliant red with a deeper looking blue iris. What a twit!!! Purely my own fault, and no one else to have a shout at.  :tickedoff:   Anyway, no painting or drawing being done as I must wear my dark glasses and keep clear of any bright light. You´d think I would know better after all these years.  :crazy2:

It is doing much better, so hopefully be back to some sketching and painting by end of next week. Be seeing you then.   :coolsmiley:

Cheers, Val

Yikes.  Eyeball 'gremlins' are no fun.

 Thanks all, back to being my usual annoying jolly self   :nana:     ;D
I was feeling so depressed and self loathing for being such a soppy twit... Lloyd felt somewhat sorry for me and took me out last week for an early birthday prezzie! So I now have a four legged companion who will gladly accompany me tramping about, and patient enough to wait while I make scribbles in my sketchbook.  :smitten:
This will be a wholly new chapter in my ´landlocked´ adventures!  :faint:   This is going to be fun!  ^-^
I shall introduce her to you shortly  :yippee:
Cheers, Val

    So pleased to hear you are back to normal Val and am so interested to hear about your new companion, who will no doubt, give you so much love and take up a lot of your time too.  I have just come back after taking my daughter's little dog for her daily walk.  So you have a lot to look forward to.   O0    Patricia
