PJ's Adventures....

Afraid the next couple of weeks will be somewhat sketchy for internet. We are finally leaving Grenada
one of those I hate to leave / happy to be sailing again situations. Always sad to leave the friends and our newly acquired, illegally adopted extended family.
Also means I won't be able to see you all every day. I do so enjoy PB and everyone on it....even the little knocks!
Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas season, and all the best for the upcoming year. Will do my best to keep in touch.
Better have internet for January.....or else! Lloyd may have to learn to duck fast!

one and all! It seems the weather Gods have decided we should stay in Grenada for Christmas. We departed Prickley Bay yesterday and moved only 7 miles to St. Georges to get ready to clear immigration and start off on our new adventure.
STOP
We spent the night anchored with 3-5 ft. swells and gusty winds. The weather is forecast to deteriorate further with seas to 10' and 30 knot winds. Soo.....back to Prickley Bay where it is calm and serene. With a bit of luck we may be able to leave Christmas or Boxing Day. Ah well, it will be fun to spend some extra time with our illegally adopted family!
Plus...the internet is still working here!

I'm glad you're not out there on those rough waters, Val.
It's nice you're still showing up around here.

I've been plotting our course in hopes of being within internet range for the w/c course...they all think I'm right 'round the twist! They just don't understand how important this is...well...to me anyway.
Nolan & Dennis may have some idea I think....I may have left a hint or three over the past year....
Thankyou for your thoughts Lillian, it is nice to be in calm water again. We won't feel much of the disturbance in here, very well protected from these northerlies.

Finally left Grenada on Boxing day. After spending 9hrs. battling strong headwinds and large seas we stopped in the lee of Union Island for the night for a much needed kip. Spent yesterday in much the same conditions and made it in to Admiralty Bay, Bequia (St. Vincent & the Grenadines). So peaceful after all that bashing about!
Looking as though we'll be sitting out another few days of nasty weather (high winds and seas). Getting a bit crowded in the anchorage as everyone coming in looking for shelter.
Perhaps I'll be able to get a day or two drawing/painting in........
