Thanks so much all, I still can't believe it is 'my' studio  :heeha: .... and it stands still!!! No more bouncing about!  :boat:    :2funny:
I started my first pastel the other night! Thought I'd botched it in the first hour, but it ended up it's turning out better than I thought. I swear I do much better when I haven't got a clue what I'm about.  :D   I came across a sketch I was doing of PJ and became a bit melancholy last night so no painting got done.Much better now as Lloyd took me out for a tramp down by the lake followed by a lovely fajita lunch and two margarita's!  Feeling much better now!  :yippee:     I'll take a photo and post it for you.... the studio is not looking quite so pristine anymore...       :2funny:
Cheers, Val

So very happy for you Val!    Your studio is beautiful and so bright... now no more excuses that the boat moves while you are painting.  Have fun  :-*

Thank you Annie, it's so nice to see familiar faces about. I'll be looking in on your gallery soon  :detective: and see what you've been up to! No pressure, just checking in on old friends.
A note to all the new folks I haven't met yet... you're not off the hook, I'll be about to see what you can teach me!  ;)
Cheers, Val

Hi Val,
I did a few watercolours this summer but I need to get them posted, nothing new in my gallery.  I did not do oil, no free block of time long enough to even put them out.   Life is full of curved balls, and I had my share this year.  Hope 2019 will be kinder.

How is life on land?  Nothing 2 margaritas cannot fix... or a box of chocolate!
Cheers my friend, Annie

Glad things are getting settled in.  RE; giving that lady two frying pans.  It doesn't take anything big to make someone's month.  The smallest things can have the greatest impact.
The time it (a work) takes is the time it takes.

I'm thrilled to hear your studio isn't pristine anymore! Never trust an artist with a clean studio!!!
And fajitas and margaritas are the best antidote to any down days!!!

Can't wait to see that pastel!
Cheers,
Sharon

Thanks to all.     Amidst still sorting  please tell me it does come to an end!!!  :crazy2:   Still battling it out with this old laptop... seems even the external keyboard doesn't like to work in the cold. The keys became so stiff it was impossible to type!  :hammer:   New computer is a priority early in this soon to be new year.
Hoping everyone had a most enjoyable Christmas/ Hanukka, or whatever you may celebrate this time of year.
Wishing you all the best for th new year 2019.   :yippee:
Cheers, Val

So good to hear from you, Val.

My prediction for 2019 is that you will get yourself righted and be back to painting again soon.

Happy New Year.

Thanks guys,
I have another small painting almost complete!  :faint:     :2funny:     This one is a bit late for the season but they all count in the end... right?
I finally got photos to load onto computer and am going to run a quick test here before I attempt the overdue challenge photos. Here we go....

Looks like it worked!   :yippee:   The little fellow was just out walking himself and decided to join us for the morning. Even the animals are friendly!
Cheers, Val
