´lo all...I have been MIA for a bit, and won´t be on much for another week or so. Had to have a visit with the eye guy and will soon have ´another´ two pairs of spectacles to try.  :cool2:    8)       :coolsmiley:           :faint:      Crikey, I could put all my specs on and be a walking sales shop!!!   :2funny:
Should be seeing the world better soon. Then I can get back to  :painting:    :painting:    :painting:   again.   :yippee:
Cheers, Val

Things did not go so well last week, so.... we are going to try something a little different and hopefully things will be put to rights this week. Good thing this eye doctor likes a challenge!         ;D     There are a number of specialists up in Guadalajara if necessary. Poor buggers!  :coolsmiley:      :2funny:
I had a strange feeling I should come online today... and oh my stars, there was a note from Riya! I was absolutely gobsmacked!  :faint:   For those of you who remember Riya, she is doing better and I an hopeful we will get to see some of her amazing scribbles in the near future.  :yippee: I feel truly blessed and thankful to be reconnected with Riya again, she is such an inspiration to me, and others.

God bless and hopefully be seeing you all later this week.   :detective:     :-*

Thank you guys     No luck as yet, go back to see them again this Thursday. Third time lucky?

Anyway, I had a go at a small test run for that big bridge that´s waiting. Discovered I am lacking in most of my deep, dark blues. I think the sky isn´t too bad from what I see (which isn´t much so I can say it´s FANTASTIC!!!    :2funny: ),  I´ll post it for your perusal once I get the water in. Keep on painting... I´m watching!   :detective:

Hi Val,
lovely to hear you, even though I haven't been here long, I've missed your jolly cracks & kindred stories of NQR attempts in early days :), & hoping, wishing you improvement with eyesight coming soon. :)
Cheers Tracey

 Val, Nolan and all my other PB friends and family  . I saw I had 'some' unread replies :coffee: but when I would read them all  ...it would take me a few months I'm afraid :2funny: . So instead of starting at the beginning, I start at the end, much quicker :) .
I am so happy to be back, I missed all of you so much and ofcourse I missed creating.

Val, I can imagine what you are goin through. I suffer from double vision for more then 8 years, getting worse  every year. First I thought it where the glasses, but I noticed that without them, the problem stayed. So I had an appointment at hospital last year April, and they thought something was wrong with one of my eye nerves. I had to wait more then a year!! :idiot2: for the second appointment, but at least they discovered the problem. I did have some problems with  the left eye nerves, but that they couldn't fix, but the double vision they could. It turned out I suffered from cataract on both eyes. They wanted to do surgery as soon as possible...but I was too scared :eyesclosed: :faint: .

And second, because I am very susceptible for infections, the risc was I would be worser off after surgery. So they had to find something to help me for this moment. And since April-May this year I wear special glasses :cool2: . On distance I can see clear and sharp for the first time since years, but up close...I can only see sharp on two tiny 1mm pinpoints, so reading, drawing and painting is still a challenge, but atleast I can see the point of my pencil again :yippee: .First thing I did after getting my new glasses was buying some new colouring books :smitten: . Not really art, but colorful and first step to drawing again. The painting I started that time was big enough to make not much mistakes, and right now drawing goes just fine...it takes only time :coffee:
