I can also see all 10 images in your gallery. I see no setting or anything that would stop you from seeing them yourself either :-\

Hi Annie.... I understand now why I could only see 4 posts.  I was only looking at my paintings Gallery and not including photo refs.  I haven't been able to download to download any more photo refs either.  I get the same message: Can't find file.  I'm sure it's One Drive. I'm having all sorts of trouble with it. I have thousands of pictures saved over about 15 years, some mine, some saved from elsewhere.  Every now and then One drive has a hissy fit and loses a whole file of a thousand or so pictures.  It usually turns up again a few weeks later in the strangest place... and sometimes in the right place.  I'm also having trouble saving my photos .  I have a phone, a tablet, and an old laptop and getting them to agree on which files are available is a bit of a nightmare.  We have a new optic fibre network connection system here in Tasmania, and contrary to all the political promises it is slower than the old wire connections. I suspect One Drive is tripping over itself trying to coordinate all my changes on the slow system. However I'll read the tech forum down below and see if I can pick up any hints from there.  then Ill email Microsoft and have a general whinge. Regarding Dennis's initial email... I deleted it after the first session thinking I wouldn't need it any more. As I have 3 machines with my emails on each there is a chance I can find it somewhere  in one of the trash baskets as, although they sync the email addresses (with variable success), they don't sync deletions, so I might be able to track it down in one trash basket or the other! . Thanks a million for all your advice and help. And thankyou Val too.

Linley,
The PB members can help you navigate thru much of any issues, but when we reach a wall... like it appears now,  it is time to send a PM to Nolan.
It is wise to keep a copy (CD, hard disc, or memory stick) of anything you leave on he Cloud).

Don't give up when you get this all clear you will find it is a breeze to navigate PB.  And your pervecerance will be work a pound of gold.
Cheers, Annie

Annie.... I may have solved the problem.... or one of them anyway... I think my keyboard sensitivity on the notebook was too high so I was inadvertently moving files to new locations by brushing over them.... I may also have solved the Upload to Gallery problem, but that needs further testing... It was definitely the fault of OneDrive not Pb. I have relocated Dennis's original email regarding the watercolour Still Life class but it shows only Pt1 and the clock is set at zero because the class has been held.  So I'm still no wiser as to when Pt2 is scheduled. I guess I'll just have to be patient watch the website for updates.  I check Pb every night anyway. Thanks once again for your help. You  and Val have cleared up a lot of puzzles for me. I hope I can reciprocate one day.  :)

What a pity, I could not take part in the last still life live class. It began at 3 AM German time (UTC +2) and that was a bit too early for me. The class conducted before this ( grapes, wineglass in acrylic) began around 10 PM german Time (UTC +2) where I managed to take part. I hope the next class is around 10 PM german time again.  That will be around 10 AM (UTC +12) in Auckland?
I am just giving a feedback Dennis and Nolan! I liked to take part in the live class!  :smiley6600:

Linley, I received the email for part 2.  So it must be in your mail box now.  Depending when you read my msg ... about 12 from now.  Check the clock in your email.  Happy you solved your problems.

Gita,
In today's email there is the link to see the replay of the first lesson.

Yes 3am is way to early!  Catch up the replay during daytime.   This one will be at supper time for most in Noth America.  Will catch a bit while cooking but dinner time is sacred, family time.

it looks to me that Dennis and Nolan regularly change day and time for their OAL classes, which is great as we can all catch some.  The last 2 OAL has been Mon, then Tue, so maybe the next one will be Wed (which I can never attend).  I like that, for a while last year they were all on the same day and I could not attend any.

But the time is more difficult to accomodate,  they are about 10 h ahead of you.

Dennis's live class will be on at 2PM here.  I may not be able to paint, but will certainly have it on to watch and listen.  I can catch up later in the day.

Have fun, all.

Now it is 09:20 PM in Germany. I am posting this to check the time shown in PB. I think it is showing right.

Hi. I found Dennis's email too late to catch up, so I'll be viewing it later too. Anyway, now I know the routine i will be more alert in future. How is everyone going. I suspect I've made my background too black, but hopefully it will still be an ok painting.

  • SMILE, It's a brand new day!
Wow! Looking excellent so far Danielle.

I'm digging out my stretcher board and getting ready for a slosh!  :heeha:

I arrived just in time yesterday to say hello and goodbye to everyone.  :'( Internet was not kind yesterday. I did get to see the class though thanks to Ray telling me how to 'rewind' the class.  :-*

Will try to get in on time next week.  ::)    ;D
Cheers, Val
