If we'd known that we were all in Kissimmee we could have got together!
We're still there, waiting for next week when we fly out to Europe on our next adventure!
Thanks for the complements, very much appreciated.
For something that was just a whim the cars and RV's I've been drawing have taken over! And I'm not even a car guy.

I was very flattered to see my pen and ink drawing featured online!
Thanks

If only I had known that you were in Kissimmee we could have got together Brian. Oh! Well, perhaps another time. Anyway, you enjoy your trip to Europe and have a safe trip.

Yes, thank you Annie, we had a lovely time for the weather was outstanding and now we have come back to Winter in Ontario.  We had two days of lovely Summer heat here this week and now it is cold again and we have had to wear jackets!!! Anyway, Summer will be here soon ... yaaaaay.

camping and sketching on the other side of the pond.

The sketchbook paper wrinkled badly when I used watercolor!

Ink and colored pencils

We have another week in England while we sort out and stock our new (to us) Motor Home then we're taking a ferry to Spain to start our European adventures.

Brian,

These are really good.  I had trouble, too, when I used the watercolor on sketch paper.

I have started to use Strathmore 400 series Mixed Media paper (6 x 8" 140lb.) and it works so well.  I tape the pad around the edges to make it work like a block.  Works great.  I'll have a pad ready for you when you get to Hawaii and we can have a line and wash marathon!

Have fun.  Stay safe.

That sounds great MEA! I can hardly wait. I have a book of WC color paper but I guess I'm not committed enough to WC to start using it! A few more in the sketch pad should get me fired up enough. This coming weekend is a national holiday here in Uk and we will be staying in the RV for the first time. 5 days with no other transport but public busses might give me the urge to really get sketching and painting.
Roll on December! (but with plenty of adventures before then!)

These are great Brian. I especially like the w/c, wrinkled or not.  ;)

Have you ever considered RVing down to Guatemala? We had two groups come through last year! One lot was from Germany, the other were all from US.  Just a thought!!!
Cheers, Val

   Great sketches Brian. Your perspective in the watercolour sketch is excellent.  Sounds like you are having an exciting life.  Enjoy every minute and take care.

We've been to Mexico in the car, and we've scouted possible winter quarters on the Baja, but so far we've never considered Guatemala. Who knows though? We've still got a lot of the US to see, maybe when we get bored of that?
Thanks for the suggestion
