Here is little Evie's fishie.  Mahalo to whoever suggested the angelfish.

I have not matted it yet, so if you see something to tweak, please let me know.  It's 5 x 7."

The eye highlight is much brighter in person and I am going to fix the L in my signature.

What else?

I am really pleased.  The WC (DaVinci) iridescent paints really work well for underwater paintings.

Thanks, Linlley, I belong to a watercolor society that gets a discount and free shipping (above a certain amount) from DaVinci paints so I gave them a try.   Love how they blend for doing backgrounds.

Thanks, Gita.  I just sloshed the blue/green/burnt sienna blend around in circles to make the dark side.

Thanks, Val.  Will give it to Evie today.

Thanks, Mary Lou.  Hmm.. I was kind of thinking it was a girl fish.

Thanks, Patricia.  I'm chuffed about it.  (Hope that's the right word.)

If it's not too late... perhaps a touch more brighter pink in the face/gills?

Thanks, Cathy.  Just look at it now!

Val, I bumped up the pink and even carried it through to the mat.  It's for a 2-year old girl, so I think it's appropriate.

I am so excited about this painting that I am going to Vistaprint now and order some postcards (no mat, though).

I love your Angelfish.  The pink mat is an excellent complement to it.  Evie will love it.

Thanks, Mysti and Val.  I feel so good about this, especially in that it came together so easily.
