Here's my new w/c portrait study   of child  done in my sketch book .  Was impressed with his innocence simile. (actually at first instance though she was a girl) :)

I met him  in the  hospital canteen ( whom I believe his mother works as a cook out there).

I think portraits in watercolor are difficult and you make it look easy.   You have captured his emotion and I love the carefree look of the whole painting. As Cath said "keep it up"... :clap: :clap: :clap:
