Retirement is great, Dennis!  Now you can be overworked without being paid for it ;-)
Really, I have learned much from you and wish you all the best.
Nolan, sorry to see the end of new art lessons, even if there are enough here to last me through several retirements.
I look forward to your encouraging comments re the lessons we continue to post.God bless,
Fred H

Hi Dennis and Nolan,
Although I have not been as active on the website for a while now I have found your tutorials extremely helpful in getting me back on track with my artistic journey. Dennis, I wish you a happy retirement and Nolan I am very happy that you are keeping the website going and although we will have no new tutorials I still haven't explored all of the classes online so I have a lot to look forward to.
I hope to still chat with you both online from time to time and wish you both all the love in the world and the very best for the future.

Take care Carol  :thankyou: :smitten: :gl2:

Dennis and Nolan, what a legacy you are leaving for us and all future PBers! Although there will be no new classes, there is so much we can learn from for a lifetime. You are both such a blessing.

Dennis, I cannot thank you enough. I am so blessed to have found PB and was thrilled to get "hooked" after my very first wc lesson of "Cosmos". I had a dream a couple years ago that you gave me a package filled with blank note-cards. I was to use them for painting and giving them away -- I was so filled with gratitude. Guess it's time I start painting on note-cards  ::) ...

I look forward to reading your almost finished new book and happy to know you both will still be active on the forum. God bless you, Dennis and Nolan.

Wishing you all the best on your retirement, Dennis. You have been an inspirational teacher to so many people, and your work will continue to inspire others for many years to come. I hope you have a long and happy retirement and enjoy all the good things life can bring you.
We will all miss you, but its time for pastures new for all of us, and Nolan's new venture should enjoy great success. We can still enjoy the lessons on Paint Basket, and have lots of exciting new projects to look forward to!  :gl2: and thank you for all you have done for us!

Dennis, congrats on your retirement and the opportunity to complete your writing endeavors!

Both you and Nolan have created such a wonderful website and art learning opportunity, there is more than enough here already for anyone to improve their art.

And the forum you have built with all the friendly members is a monument to your combined works.

Thanks for what you have done!

I'm saddened to hear that no new classes will be created but encouraged since you two don't have time to teach that possibly someone else would step into that role?  Regardless of the outcome, I wish you both the best in whatever you decide 😀?👍

I think you tried retiring before Dennis, so I hope it sticks this time and you enjoy all those things you miss most, you certainly deserve it. What you put together at Paint Basket has touched and changed so many lives for the better that it will never be forgottn by any of those whose lives you touched.

Nolan, you taught me "how to fish" so to speak, so now I have something I never had before and will now always have.  I am grateful for your gift of teaching -  with each lesson I felt I was propelled to a higher level. Only rare and talented teachers can both inspire and pass knowledge on like that. Thank you for that and I'm so greatful for finding paint basket.

God bless you both in your new endeavors.
