Prismacolor premier
Pan Pastel
9x12 Carson Watercolor 140#

I found that I stopped participating  in the class and ventured out on my own.  I think its getting close to starting an original, but a bit timid to jump in just yet.

This is wonderful.   :yippee:

Food for thought:  the light shines on the nose (anterior aspect of the face), so the right posterior-lateral aspect of the neck should be more shadowed and less bright than the face itself.  It would better define the mandibular angle... and make the face pop out.

Does this make sense to you?

Still this is wonderful.  You really mastered pencil drawing and happy you are venturing on your own.  You are more than ready to fligh and leave the nest
Cheers, Annie

Barry,
This is so well done.  I think it is the best piece I have seen you do.

Is it your dog?
