I had a delivery of petfood today, the box was full of thick packing brown paper. I started to wonder if i could smooth out the wrinkles in the paper by wetting and taping to a piece of cardboard. So i cut a piece off and tried. It worked. So i drew this picture of a boy looking out through a chainlink fence at something or other.
I used a graphite pencil and a woodless koh i noor white pastel pencil.
I think it works.
Now to smooth out the rest :D

This happened once before the picture is the right way up in my library but has turned on upload

This made me think of the poor asylum seekers that my government is treating so badly.

Liz,

What a clever use of the paper!!! The white looks good on the brown background. Great job. Very impressive.

I like the subject and drawing very much!
