Liz your writing leads one along a wonderful and inspiring journey. I look forward to your insights, it is interesting to hear from other artists how art opens one up to a new way of truly seeing the world around us. It really is magic.

To all of you who are reading my posts. This week I wrote about how I was a co-founder of a school in 1978, the first of 2 posts on Recycle, Reduce and Reuse.

Oh! Liz, how I thoroughly enjoyed reading your post .... I was transported into another dimension, I was that engrossed. You write so well and captivate the reader's sole attention. I have come away from your post feeling so very happy and uplifted by how and what God has done in your life and the lives of others, whom you have touched. Thank you for writing such an interesting post and wishing you much success with your future endeavours and good works.

Mea, I had no problem this morning with Liz's link but when I tried it this afternoon after reading your post, I too, got something to do with Atelier paints and night owl's blog (I think is what the translation might be). Weird. I think we should bring it to Nolan and Liz's attention.

OK, Patricia. I will send this to Liz and Nolan.
My theory, though, is that the link should have said "artwithaloha."

You're right, MAL, I forget myself and write 'love'; did it at least a few times, but usually caught myself. It really is a new blogsite for me, too. ~Liz

Hi Everyone,
So who's the Paint Basket member who gave a group of seniors recycled cardboard to do their art work?

How wonderful Liz! You are such a mentor for the arts.
So nice of you to share your gifts. One just never knows what little thing will bring joy to others. Thank you for that.

Some very famous artists have painted on cardboard. A few hundred years later art conservators curse them because cardboard is not usually acid free and is hard to conserve. Tough! If my art on cardboard is valuable enough to conserve in 200 years, then let the art conservators earn their money. In the meantime, paint on anything that you can apply paint to. Often I suspect that all this bumpf about using acid free materials so that the art work will last a few hundred years is more to benefit the shops that sell art supplies than the artist, or even the art buyer. If someone buys your painting cheaply, the chances are it will be turfed when they change the colour scheme of the room. Haven't you heard... it's a throw-away economy now-a-days? Good on you Liz! AND that other person who gives her senior citizens students cardboard to paint on!

Lovely photos Liz, glad you enjoyed your adventure. I love the old covered bridges, not many left.
How did you like the snow?
