Had this up and deleted it then gave more shadow around the eyes. I haven't been able to capture the features exactly but I am happy with the skin tines and blending.

So well done, Bill.  Skin, expression, eyes, hair - wow, all so good.

:thankyou: Patricia, Mea, Teresa and Dennis. This is a culmination of  few of your lessons and I did think of the tear but was afraid to spoil the finished painting. Another time maybe?

Haunting and beautiful!

And Dennis taught us water drops in the first rose class - great technique!
Cheers,
Sharon

Hi Bill, here's a link to an old newsletter video where Dennis did a demo for me on various ways to do a waterdrop, which can be done at any stage in a w/c painting. The water drops come in at about 5 min. 20 sec. in the video. Thought you might find it helpful.  O0

I just watched it from the beginning, if you do you'll see what a pest I was badgering for w/c lessons!       :2funny: This was near the beginning of the PB website and Nolan was doing oil videos back then. It's a fun video with some great tips.
