Hi everyone on paintbasket. I recently uploaded some of my work and I was so pleased with the feed back I received especially from Bruce and Valweb. Thanks a lot guys.
I'm a single dad living in Liverpool UK with my two girls. I've always been an artist at heart but never seem to be able to spend as much time as I'd like painting and drawing. I'm self employed as a driving instructor which helps to plan around my girls busy schedules.
I've had so many ideas for paintings since joining the site, hopefully the first of these won't be too far away.
It's really fantastic to see the standard of work produced, I just hope I can get close to some of you guys.

Just as every singer sings with a different voice, every artist paints with a different brush! Be yourself.

Many thanks Paintbasket

:bigwelcome: again Bri ... So glad you found us. I know you're going to find plenty of help and encouragement here. By the look of your painting you are not as far behind some as you may think!  O0
Come often and enjoy.

Hey Bri, we are near neighbours! I'm in Halifax UK.
It's good to know you seek to further your artistic creations and take inspiration from PB (Paint Basket).
I like your quote drawing analogy with singers!

Hi everyone and thanks for the very warm welcome. It certainly is wet and windy here in Liverpool Anita and I think that's inspired my next work. A sunset in New Brighton, just to try and calm things down a little.

Hi Bri

Welcome to PB. I used to follow Liverpool back in the days of Paisley, Fagan, Keegan, Clements and Dalgleish.
Now that was a football club  O0

Your sea painting is a great start keep it up  :welcome:

Cheers Bruce

Hi Bruce
I'm not really from Liverpool, I was born in Burnley but lived in the North East of England for thirty years.
Move here about 8 years ago and i love it. The sunsets are just the summer that is!
Thanks again Bruce for the encouragement, hope to get another pic on soon.

:welcome: Bri! I've seen many people from UK in here, isn't it funny that sometimes to chat with your british neighbour you have to sign up to a New Zeland site...?  :2funny: I haven't found anyone else from Poland, though...  :gl2:

P.S. BEAUTIFUL scetches! I just love the way you drew the tiger and the german shepard.
