I like this, Gita.  Minimal details, but yet so complete.

Yes nice, all the needed details are there.

I keep thinking I should sketch (I listened to both Dennis and Nolan lessons again last week)... I start well but get so caught up in details... it is not a sketch anymore.   Someone suggested a timer, I will likely have a full book of 10% done sketches!

Just to get an idea, how long do you typically spend doing a sketch?
Cheers, Annie

Thanks Mea! I think the completeness may due to the value differences.
Annie, I drew this in 30 min while waiting in front of the Zoo entrance. I start  to sketch by just drawing the outlines till I finish the gross picture. Then I do the shadings and in the end the colouring.

 :thankyou: Nolan.
Today’s sketch. I see these towers everyday and they are so beautiful.

awesome. The border and extras around the scene make it look extra arty.
My suggestion is that you do these on a larger sketchbook - one where the sketch is on a single sheet. That way you can have prints of your sketches made and sell them locally

Oh you are right Nolan. I shall do that. This book is smaller and handy to carry around.

:heeha: Since I can´t show you knocking my socks off... I´d show me falling down  :faint:        :2funny:
Gita, your twin towers are beyond brilliant.  O0   I do love how you have ´framed´ the painting and then broken the lines. Beautiful.   :congrats:
Just wondering if it would be possible to try a little photoshop type wizardry to remove the crease lines from your photograph    I´m not techie at all in that regard... but possibly?
Banner job Gita, just love it!   :congrats:

Thank you Bill, Annie, Teresa!

Val, :smitten:, you can wear your socks again.. ;D I appreciate your comment so much!
I guess I could remove the book creases digitally. Will try.
Cheers, Gita

I erased the crease of the book and some minor changes like Val suggested. Nolan, I agree it looks a lot better without the crease.
The towers are actually turquoise in colour.
