I am working on upcoming posts for my artist website blog. I am wondering about something.
Can I write a post about my children's love for art and creating and showcase some of the artworks they did throughout the years and the influence I have on them wrt creating? Or is this just a no no?
Your thoughts on this please.

Maryna, a blog is normally all about your dreams and happenings in your life, so you can write  about virtuallyanything that suits you. Just be careful in giving out personal and private information though. No problem about chatting about your children's artwork or what and where you have been when on holiday.

also bear in mind your aim for the blog. Is it a personal blog where you chronicle your journey or is a blog aimed at selling your art?

If it is the former then post whatever you want.

If it is the latter then keep ensuing that you are using it to build up your image and credibility as an artist and keep the personal "life" things to a minimum. Before you post ask yourself will this help a gallery owner or potential buyer decide to buy my art? If it is a personal blog post and it helps the buyer connect with you as an artist, then the post is fine.
