I had started this some days ago to learn colour pencils. The face is done with non water soluble CP according to the tutorial. The rest I used Gouache, since I did not have water soluble Graphitint CP.
For my first CP piece, I think it's ok. Learnt a number of techniques. The face could have been less jaundiced
I would really like to hear critiques to this. What shall I do better? Can't change the face much because I have used baby oil to homogenise.

:heeha: Wow Gita. I think you are amazingly talented with any medium you pick up. I love the textures of the face and the fabric. So well done.

Great job, Gita!   I agree with you. The skin tone is too yellow for a Greek. Maybe a little more of a brown suntanned face if you're going for a weathered look. Otherwise, a European Caucasian skin tone would work.

Gita,

Would love to give this dear lady a hug.

You have given her an endearing character.

Love the way you hatched the fabric on her shirt (or dress).

You continue to amaze me with all the media you try.

I seem to have missed this one

Very well drawn, but agree the only thing that needs (needed) addressing was the skin tone. Great job.
