One thing I miss down under in Sydney is Snow, (to look at). Something I did a few weeks ago from a tutorial by Geoff Kersey, an English artist and a favorite of mine.
Merry Xmas to all at Paint Basket.

Bill

This is beautiful (despite having to look at the snow).  It looks like the work of someone who has been doing it for years - wow, you are getting so good.

:thankyou: Mea, Teresa, Val and Ray. There are some very good artist on this site and they give me inspiration. I find with tutorial subjects it's bit like "painting by numbers".

I had a couple of demo's by Geoff Kersey back in the days of IDAP! I'll have to see if I still have the links. I remember he did a beautiful row of old thatched cottages.

Excellent job on the bridge painting Bill. You are far and away now!  :yippee:

Thanks Sharon.
Thanks Val, I have my picture of the thatched cottages hanging in my house, I look at it now and know I can probable do a better one but with so many other subjects to paint it will wait.

    Bill your painting is absolutely gorgeous, anyone looking at your painting would think you were a Master Artist. It is that beautiful.

I do agree that we have excellent tutors in Dennis and Nolan and some outstanding artists on our site and they all inspire us to try and do better.  I just love the PB and all those who make it what it is. I will always be eternally grateful to Dennis and Nolan for starting up this wonderful site.

Teresa, your Aussie snowman had me screaming with laughter.

Patricia you are so kind and as you say Dennis, Nolan and the work on this site is truly inspiring. One thing that I like is during Dennis's tuition Nolan may make a comment I do not hear, Dennis will answer and then chuckle. It's infectious. :2funny:
