Hope you mom will make a quick recovery, Sharon.

Girl, don't doubt your ability.  You have proven time and again that you are a talented artist.

So pleased to hear too, that your Mom is progressing.  Great stuff.

Your poor mum! I hope her luck improves.... everyone I know has had a bit of a rough Christmas. I've had dead rats in the driveway, a row with certain neighbours (who might be the source of the dead rats! ... for revenge), a nasty persistent cold, and yes, lots of spiders, and someone has hacked my credit card. So I hope the New Year will bring a more auspicious outlook.
Sharon, I think the reason that everyone is telling you to brighten the flowers is because the tiny flecks of white in the foreground are lighter/brighter than your reds. It's really a lovely scene. You could maybe brighten your flowers by maker the greens less dark, and the white specks a bright apple green? This is a very timid suggestion.... because I'm really talking through my hat when I give advice...Take it with a spoonful of caution.  :gl2:

Hi Sharon so sorry to hear about your mum she has had a back trot lately, hopefully she'll be able to recover from all this and have her eye operation.
You are getting closer and as Alice advised the hill in the background needs to be a more light blue/purple colour to give it that distant look.
Just remember this is a painting and not a duplication of a photo, otherwise they would have just stayed with the photo     :1hug:

Oh! My word Sharon, you have had so much worry with your Mom and now with her falling.  Let us pray that all these set backs are now finished and that she is on the road to good health.

Your painting is looking very good indeed.  I knew you could do it.

Oh, yes, Sharon.  Looks more polished now.  Maybe just a slight dab of shadow under those two trees in the center of the painting.  They look like they need a bit of grounding.  Otherwise, GREAT SAVE on this one.

Hope your mom recovers quickly from her fall.

Have a fabulous time at the hotel, Sharon.

Glad the client likes the painting.  Good for you for seeing it through.

Hope Mom is on the onward and upward path now.
