Nina, the amount of water on the paper as well as the brush only comes from experience.

Wow  :heeha: ... all these tonal painting are so great    ... well done everyone and great job. O0

I still need to watch the video, but I am sort of postponing it a bit due to my limited Gigs quota for the month  :tickedoff: ... a lot of the quota got chewed up when we got my sons laptop back from the shop... it was doing anti-virus and Windows updates like mad.  Now that I have my own computer...it does its own updates and all of that takes a chunk out of the quota  :'( so I feel a little down about that.  This might also cause me not to be able to watch the upcoming class.  :pullhair: However, in the mean time I need to finish my portraits eye...just need to add lashes and brow...then will attempt another watercolour to keep me going.  I might have to concider getting my own quota for the internet sometime  :faint:  :crazy2:

My cottage is having trouble standing up straight.
I had trouble with the end of the replay so I missed the finishing details and i didn't have your picture Dennis. It's good looking at other people's cottages - it shows me a lot of things i missed. Nice work everybody!

(This is the second time I've tried to post this so it might turn up somewhere else)

Karen, you did well considering, just the room extension is leaning a bit too low down. Other than that

Here's my attempt at the tonal painting.

I'll try to do better on another one, just don't like it!

I didn't manage to get the negative painting in on the trees on the right side and I kind of got carried away with that big tree.   :2funny:

I love what I see everyone doing.

Nina, I'm with you.  Haven't done mine, yet.  Hopefully, I will get to it today.
