:welcome: great you found this site you'll learn heaps and now your family  knows what to buy you for presents makes it easy for them ;D
I have an old sleeves dress for summer painting and one of my husband's old shirts for painting in the winter that I  wear,  as i am clumsy and tend to drop my brushes all the time. I also use an old table cloth for the kitchen table to protect it. This table cloth also serves as a floor cover for my carpert when my granddaughter is in her highchair eating  :2funny:

Soooooo.......she's working on her 'colour palette' while she dines.... ;)
The time a work takes is the time it takes.

Yeah... well Nolan has a brand new dedicated studio.... I'm sure that makes a difference. But I expect as time goes on and you develop your own style and colour preferences, things not regularly used get put away and that must help too. I wish I was at that stage.... everything always seems to be somewhere other than at hand, necessitating a flurried  and messy search!
