This is the biggest painting that I have attempted.
Again, I have used texture so that my husband can kind of feel the painting.
I took my time on this one and used about 15 glazes...so far! Not sure if it is finished.
Would love some feed back.
It is 155cm X 66cm.

WOW, Terri! I love this painting, and also seeing it in place, where it looks stunning. It's bold and sensual, with exquisite color and technique.

:heeha: I'm in agreement with Susan. Love this, even looks like a small shark swimming in the center of it all! It has a nice watery feel and the various ships look to be at slightly different depths. If you think it is built up enough for your husband to recognize the shapes.... I'd call it done!
Brilliant!!!   :congrats:       :yippee:

Looks good Terri, I presume that all but the top one are underwater, is this painted from a photo?
I like the triptych on your wall also.

Great painting. Well done and looks great on your wall.  what a lovely  room you hsve to display your paintings.
Bill i think the triptych you are referring to is not a painting. I think it is 3 windows to me but I could be wrong.

:thankyou: all so much for your kind comments.
Thanks BeaSue, Val, Maryna, Bill and Teresa.
I actually did another two glazes today...so now I am calling it done!
Now...to fess up! This is NOT my house. I use a app called iArtView which lets you put your paintings on to various walls. They are to scale and I think they are a great way to display the size of the painting in a room.
I did use a photo as a reference Bill. Found it in Pintrest.
Thanks again everyone. 😘 Terri

Wow this is cool.  In some way it is very abstract but somehow not.  It reminds me of aerials of ships here in the Gulf.
