This is not really my thing, i prefer being realistic as possible, but i have seen work like this by artists and thought i would have ago. To be honest i am unsure whether i like it or not.

I think you did very well for trying something new.  Love the way you made the hollow of his cheek.  His strong character shows through your painting.

You should like it; it's good.  It's actually looking better each time I look at it.  He's quite captivating.

Must have gotten some 'bad blood'  :whistle:    Perhaps that's why he's a little green around the gills.

I've seen a number of paintings done with colours like this. You've done a good job with it. Not easy.  :clap: :clap: :clap:
