This is another painting that I hope to put in a show.  This is the first acrylic painting I have done in many years and never on a canvas.  I watched the video of Nolan painting the zebra and knew I wanted to paint a zebra too, but I wanted to paint one I could use.  I found the photo for this one on PFA and always thought I would paint it in oil, but then I decided to try acrylics.  It was a lot harder than Nolan made it look.  I went back and watched the beginning acrylics video to see how to handle acrylics.  Anyway, I am posting it here to be critiqued because I have always received good help from so many of you.

Linda,

Wow, so realistic I thought it was a photo.  The detailing in the stripes is amazing.

:heeha: This is beyond brilliant Linda. I went to look for the photo but got lost in the sea of zebras!  :D   Wanted to look at something about the eye. Would you post the photo or a link?

Thank you Mea.  This was done from some old bottle acrylics from back when painting on wood for craft fairs was the thing. (I saw where you tried some old watercolors.)

Thank you Patricia.

Thank you Val.  I can't post the photo due to rules.  It is in the zebra album about 22 rows of photos down on my phone.  Hope that helps.

Thank you EmmaLee.
