Well, I finally took the leap and signed up for some classes. Here I go, another adventure on my journey. I'll try to figure out what I'm supposed to do...this website is very confusing to me, rather counter-intuitive, but I'm not used to online forum/stuff.

A couple of questions:

1) How long is my course/class viable and available to me? I thought I saw somewhere a year, but now I can't find that info.

2) Long ago I noticed there was a VIP membership. Is that still available?

Well, thanks for the new adventure. I look forward to the ride.

~Pam

Access to your classes does not expire, so you can do them at your own pace O0

We have moved our membership option over to it's own website HERE

:bigwelcome: Hi Pam  , sorry I'm a bit late, welcome to the family. Which classes are you taking? w/c, oil, drawing..? Not being nosy.... :nosey: ok so yes I am!  ;D   If you get stuck or have any queries, just pop them on the forum or send me a PM. Only too glad to help. You'll find everyone very friendly so don't be shy to ask.  O0

Looking forward to seeing your works.

Thank you all for your warm welcome! I am starting with the beginning drawing course. It's been so long, I thought I would enjoy brushing off the dust with that one. Then I'd like to work on some pastels again. I haven't done much of anything with my art for so long! So right now I'm focusing on honing my rusty skills and picking up tips and techniques that I either have forgotten or hadn't learned yet. One day I'd like to try my hand at watercolor, but I'm not rushing anything. I am looking forward to being a part of a warm friendly community on this journey! Thanks again, Pam

:heeha:   My three favourite mediums!!!  :yippee:   Soooo, you have worked previously with pastels? I have really only just started with pastels and love them to bits (poor turn of phrase there  ). Feel free to pass along any pointers or suggestions, I'll take all the help I can get.  ;D

Drawing is still the number one skill for improving painting capabilities. You're starting in the perfect spot.  O0   Have fun  :painting:

it won't take long to shake off the rust. Art is the same as riding a bicycle. Once you know how, you never loose the skill O0

Hi Pam.   Joining up will be one of your best decisions you have ever made!  Enjoy this site and the lessons you want to learn.   What part of the Northwest are you from?   I was from Terrace, BC, Canada.   Looking forward to seeing your work.
