Painted yesterday afternoon. There is a competition with the theme poppies the winner gets a printed acknowledgement , considering entering.

Both the dog and the whale are well done.

Oh, and it looks like I missed commenting on the poppies and the little boy with the electrifying hair cut.  Both nicely done.  I love the look on the little boy's face.  So cute.

Thankyou everyone, much appreciated. I am trying for more detail now heading towards my main aim - i want to produce a picture the viewer feels thay can touch/stroke. It a big aim but i am determined to get there..

So i had this crazy idea of making some coasters for christmas presents. I managed to get some rose wood slices although this  is a pine wood slice somewhat smaller than the rose wood but sufficient to test out. I will apply a few coates of varnish tomorrow. Painted in system3 acrylic
